The 1st International Combinatorial Catalysis Symposium (ICCS) will be held at KAIST in Daejon, Korea from July 20 (Sun.), 2008 to July 22 (Tue.), 2008 as the post conference of 14th International Congress on Catalysis.

Combinatorial technology and high-throughput experimentation (HTE) are becoming a revolutionary technology to overcome the barrier of conventional research and to explore the advanced research in the development of novel catalysts. During the past decade, combinatorial and high-throughput methodology has emerged a renaissance in catalysis due to the advances in libraries synthetic methods and characterization tools.

We have the pleasure to invite you to the 1st International Combinatorial Catalysis Symposium in order to discuss and share our achievements on the combinatorial and high-throughput technologies in the catalysis.

International scientists and engineers interested in those topics are welcome to participate in the symposium. We invite participation from industries, universities, institutes, and laboratories from around the world.

Seong Ihl Woo
Chairman

The scope of this symposium
1. Theoretical approaches for the catalyst discovery: Informatics and data mining
2. High-throughput characterization in catalysis
3. Synthesis of catalyst libraries using combinatorial technology
4. High-throughput screening in homogeneous, heterogeneous, electro- and bio-catalysis
5. Industrial application with HTE
6. H2 storage materials
7. Fuel cell & energy conversion catalysis
